Kyoto Flagship Store 1st basement floor “Kyo no chagura”    Tea tasting(Chakabuki) experience

Chakabuki is a game in which participants drink three different types of tea, including gyokuro and sencha, named Hana (flower), Tori (bird) and Kaze (wind). Participants learn the color, shape, taste, and aroma of the tea leaves, and try to guess which of the three types of tea is named “Hana”, “Tori”, or “Kaze”. The players place the “Flower, Bird, and Wind” cards in a suggestion box, and compete for the total number of correct answers in the first and second rounds. At Kyoto Flagship Store, we have devised a variety of ways to make it easy for beginners to enjoy this game. Reservations required.
